Rock Climbing, Scrambling and Mountaineering - Snowdonia

Gibbon Adventures was founded by James Monypenny, who has worked as an outdoor instructor and expedition leader for many years in a variety of fields. He has spent many happy years in the outdoors and enjoys traveling the world climbing, and paragliding in the far-flung corners of the earth. James is a qualified: Mountaineering & Rock Climbing Instructor (MCI), Mountain Leader (ML), a Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI), and holds a BSc Sport and Exercise science for Performance Coaching, Middle of Nowhere medical training. He has completed technically challenging, alpine style, first ascents on unclimbed mountains in Patagonia, the Pakistani Karakoram, the Andes, the India & Nepalese Himalayas, the Kyrgyzstani Tien Shan, & the Tajikistani Muzkol, the Chinese Sichuan. In most circumstances, James will be available to run your course, and if he is not, then will offer to organise one of the Gibbon Adventures team of instructors; all of whom hold the Mountaineering Instructor award, and are highly experienced local climbers and instructors.
