What is Scrambleing

Scrambleing is the activity of moving over rocky terrain in the mountains. Between hill walking and rock climbing, you have Scrambling. Easy grade 1 scrambles don't normally require a rope, whereas Grade 1+, grade 2, and grade 3 scrambles are harder and require the use of rock climbing equipment to safeguard.

What to Expect

A challenging Exciting mountain Journey, fully guided by a mountaineering instructor, and a great intro to the world of mountain scrambles. When the going gets tough, you'll be belayed (kept safe) using the rope.

which route?

We'll choose the best, most iconic scramble, based on your ability and previous experience and the weather for the day. The north ridge of Tryfan, Bristly ridge & Crib Goch being good examples.
